Technical Manager Role
Crest Nicholson plc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join their South Division based in Addlestone. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for making a profit by acquiring land and planning, designing, constructing, and selling dwellings in accordance with the company's operating policies and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and co-operate with the Land Department in the investigation and acquisition of development sites.
- Be responsible for detailed technical investigation, design, and optimization, ensuring proper liaison with statutory authorities and producing necessary documentation and drawings.
- Prepare detailed constructional drawings, negotiate and secure technical and statutory approvals to achieve optimal timing programs.
- Identify and resolve technical design and constructional problems.
- Assist in the supervision and administration of the Company Technical function.
Essential Qualifications/Attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge base from a technical design background of either architectural or civil engineering.
- Educated to HNC/HND in a construction-related qualification.
- Knowledge of the housebuilding industry, preferably gained with a high-volume house builder.
- Exposure to mix-use/commercial schemes.
- Experience in concrete, steel, and traditional masonry build.
