Job Summary

We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting our residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will work closely with our care team to deliver person-centred care, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and eating
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility
  • Support residents with their medication, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring that residents receive a balanced and nutritious diet
  • Participate in care planning and review, ensuring that residents' needs are met and their care is tailored to their individual requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality care and support
Requirements
  • Willingness to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
  • Good reason or experience that has drawn you to care
  • Live within 25 minutes of the home
  • One year's experience of working in a residential or nursing home (preferred)
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care or above (preferred)
