Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Nights

Salary: £14.09ph

Hours: Full Time - 7pm-7am, (3 x shifts 1 week, 4 x shifts the next to include alternate weekends)

Location: Market Harborough, LE16 8NE

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Oxendon House Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive team culture, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Conduct daily medication rounds, document accurately, and ensure all team members complete daily charts to a high standard.
  • Identify and address any concerns or issues, escalating to the Home Manager as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure, lead a team, and communicate effectively.
