We invite experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Light Therapy Nurses. In this part-time (15 hours) role, you will work closely with patients requiring Phototherapy treatments, building expertise in Dermatology.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our strong connections with Consultant teams. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive training and support from our skilled Phototherapy team.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality light therapy treatments, adjusting doses according to patient needs.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient management of outpatient clinics, always prioritising patient safety.
  • Monitoring patients' responses to treatment and escalating any concerns or adverse reactions to senior clinicians promptly.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans tailored to individual patient needs, adapting to changes in healthcare requirements.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives, and carers, ensuring their active involvement in treatment decisions and care planning.
