Job Summary:

The Senior Category Merchant Manager will be responsible for driving business strategy and maximizing sales growth by working closely with Category Leadership and account managers. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define category's growth opportunities:
  • Spot popular brands, trends, and pricing to identify key business opportunities.
  • Deploy detailed deep dives and data analysis to manage sellers toward a growth plan.
Seller management:
  • Closely monitor seller performance and provide support to ensure maximum sales growth.
Technical project management:
  • Automate and scale the category level growth via new selection, product listing quality, and in-stock opportunities.
Category/3P project management:
  • Work within the marketplace organization to establish and execute 3P level projects/programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in category management or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Compensation:

$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
