Job Title: Care Assistant - Agency Team

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Agency Team at Swallowcourt. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Monitor and report changes: Regularly assess residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the senior care assistant or nurse in charge.
  • Support daily routines: Assist with domestic duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Participate in team meetings: Attend regular team meetings to discuss resident care plans, share knowledge, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Follow instructions and tasks: Adhere to care plans and instructions from the responsible person on shift, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
  • Encourage social and physical activity: Participate in activities and outings with residents, promoting social interaction and physical well-being.
  • Provide support during emergencies: Respond to emergencies and take action where necessary, seeking advice from the nurse in charge and/or emergency services when required.
