Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Agency Team at Swallowcourt. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Tasks: Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Domestic Duties: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by completing domestic duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and waste management.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication to residents, as required, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support and Empowerment: Support residents in achieving their personal goals and aspirations, and empower them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and colleagues, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and respectful attitude.
