Job Summary
Thornbury Community Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism to live safe and fulfilled lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism in a community-based setting.
- Work collaboratively with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
- Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience in performing physical interventions and restraint training.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
