About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical and Industrial Equipment Technician to join our regional team in a field-based role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of industrial and commercial doors, gates, barriers, and loading bay equipment on various properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Install, service, and repair industrial and commercial equipment according to company standards.
  • Complete job-related forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform dynamic risk assessments and create method statements (RAMS) as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with depot and regional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in out-of-hours rotations and attend health and safety meetings regularly.
  • Pursue sales opportunities and maximize revenue growth.
  • Foster strong internal team communication and provide support to trainee engineers.
  • Identify hazards on customer sites and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage van stock effectively and obtain quotes for materials and equipment.
What We Offer

In this rewarding role, you can expect a competitive salary of around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
