About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires you to be on-site during working hours. As a Maintenance Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, inspecting equipment, and performing repairs as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance work and carry out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel.
- Conduct routine inspection of premises and equipment, and handle basic repairs and maintenance requirements.
- Undertake various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electricity, telecommunications, heat, carpentry, and decorating.
- Assist in record keeping and maintain a daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.
- Take responsibility for identifying areas of improvement within your range of operation, including risk awareness.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Able to work in a team environment, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
