About the Apprenticeship Programme
Our 4-year apprenticeship programme provides a comprehensive training and development opportunity for individuals interested in engineering and mechanics. As a Forklift Maintenance Specialist, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in fault finding, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including forklift trucks and powered access equipment
- Work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and develop skills
- Complete apprenticeship qualification tasks independently and manage own workload
- Develop good communication and teamwork skills
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £15,700 in Year 1, progressing to £25,000 in Year 4, subject to satisfactory performance. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including company uniform, PPE, a brand-new stocked toolbox, float for travel expenses, and access to our Briggs Boost benefit scheme.
