Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical mechanical side of a project and will supervise a team when the Lead Engineer is on leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating the size of product required (diameter/height/copper requirement) upon receipt of enquiry.
  • Acting as the point of contact on a project for external customers who require updates on order progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical design.
  • The ability to carry out mechanical calculations for sizing of equipment.

About Us:

Our client is part of a global business that provides turnkey process engineering equipment for distillery and brewery projects. The company has been on an incredible journey over the past few years to become a £100 million company and has almost met this target by taking on some truly exciting and complex projects.

Their Scottish operation, based just outside Edinburgh, fabricates equipment and vessels for distillery/brewery projects. Due to increased workload, the company is looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer.
