We are seeking an experienced Induction Manager and Facilitator to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our Training and Development team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality induction programmes to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deliver, and evaluate all corporate and bespoke induction programmes to meet the needs of the Trust.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff on induction and training requirements.
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts and trainers to develop effective training programmes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Recruitment team and HCSW Education team to ensure seamless induction training.
- Manage the New Starters Guide to UHSussex and ensure all induction information is regularly reviewed and updated.
- Design and develop specialist induction programmes, including Consultant Induction.
- Adapt training to meet operational needs, sometimes at short notice.
- Monitor and review completion of online induction and ensure all induction training is completed within one month of commencing work.
- Manage own time effectively to prioritize workload and accommodate unpredictable ad-hoc requests.
- Develop innovative training materials and adapt courses to reflect present priorities.
- Line manage and coach the Lead T&D Administrator, T&D Administrator, and T&D Assistant Administrator.
- Oversee and ensure standards are met by Subject Matter Experts and other educational professionals.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualities:
- Qualified to degree level.
- Experience of designing and delivering induction or engagement programmes.
- Experience of planning and organizing induction training.
- Experience of supervising staff.
- Good Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
