Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Development Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our established Emotion Regulation Pathway (ERP) team, supporting the delivery of effective interventions for individuals with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN).

About the Role

As a Peer Support Development Worker, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist. You will be part of a small ERP Short-Term team working within one or two locality areas, supporting and enhancing the psychological care of individuals with CEN within the Community and Living Well Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist
  • Work closely with the ERP team to deliver effective interventions for individuals with CEN
  • Support and enhance the psychological care of individuals with CEN within the Community and Living Well Team
  • Participate in the delivery of our DBT informed Managing Emotions Programme groupwork and DBT and MBT informed Structured Psychological Support individual program
  • Contribute to audits, collection of statistics, development of research projects, and project work
