About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Development Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Community and Living Well Team, providing psychological assessment and interventions to individuals with Complex Emotional Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enhance the psychological care of individuals with Complex Emotional Needs within the Community and Living Well Team.
  • Provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Contribute to the development of research projects and audits to improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level.
  • Lived experience of mental health services as a recipient of care.
  • Experience of working in the field of patient, public involvement or improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to act as a role model and demonstrate leadership skills.
