We are seeking a skilled Community Inclusion Advocate to join our team at The National Autistic Society. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping autistic individuals integrate into their communities, fostering meaningful connections and friendships.
About the Job ResponsibilitiesYour primary focus will be on supporting service users in developing essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. You will also facilitate access to local services, promote social inclusion, and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.
To excel in this role, you will need to be patient, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with others. A deep understanding of autism and its effects on daily life, as well as experience working in residential settings or supporting vulnerable people, is highly desirable.
