Learning Support Assistant for Students with Severe SEND Needs

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Post-16 College in Ealing. The successful candidate will work closely with students aged 16 years and over who have severe Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to pursue a career in Speech and Language Therapy to gain valuable experience working with students who require additional support. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individualized support to students, help them develop life skills, and facilitate their learning in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Supporting students with their learning and daily activities
- Assisting students with physical disabilities, behavioural challenges, and other complex needs
- Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and specialists to ensure students receive comprehensive support
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
- Possess a strong understanding of SEND/SEMH needs and how to provide effective support
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fantastic SEN unit within a Post-16 College in Ealing

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including opportunities for professional growth and development.
