Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support in and out of the classroom, ensuring they meet their targets and develop both academically and personally.

About the Role

  • This is a long-term, full-time position available immediately
  • You will be supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • The ideal candidate will have strong academics and excellent communication skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and motivation to help others
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs and SEND is essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers with working towards academic and personal development
  • Monitor the progress of individual students
  • Help students with Maths, English, Reading, Writing, and Phonics

What We Offer

  • A competitive daily rate of £105-£110 per day
  • A term-time only contract, Monday to Friday
  • A based in Lambeth, London
