Customer Service Opportunity

15 Hours Per Week - Flexible Availability

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Prepare and present food and beverages to customers, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer customer inquiries about products and services, and assist customers in finding the items they need.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a positive and friendly service.
  • Upsell selected products to customers, highlighting multi-buy offers to maximize sales.
  • Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, and serving food, and cleaning the department.

Store Operations:

  • Work stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks, such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, promotional displays, and other tasks as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of legislative responsibilities in a retail environment, and the skills to assist with adherence.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
