Job Description:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to adults with complex needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and facilitating their participation in community activities. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care and support, tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Enable our residents to engage in daily living activities: Utilize community resources and beyond to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  2. Support social activities and facilitate connections: Foster meaningful relationships between residents, family, and friends, promoting social inclusion and community integration.
  3. Manage personal finances effectively: Assist residents with financial management, budgeting, and shopping, ensuring their financial security and stability.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized home environment: Collaborate with residents to maintain a safe and comfortable living space, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  5. Provide and encourage personal care: Support residents with their personal care needs, promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy.
Requirements:
  • A female Support Worker
  • Fully flexible for all shifts across a 7-day week
  • Holds a Full UK Driving License
  • Full-time hours only
  • Experience in similar roles, specifically supporting autism and challenging behavior
  • Paid enhanced DBS check
  • Flexible working arrangements

Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 per annum, reflecting the demands of the position and the expertise required.
