Leicestershire, United Kingdom Leicestershire County Council Full time

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Leicestershire County Council as a Parking Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the Council's Camera Enforcement Vehicle to various locations across the county, primarily during school term times.

You will follow scheduled patrol routes to capture evidence of parking contraventions near schools, bus stops, and other locations in accordance with relevant policies, legislation, and procedures. Your duties will also include securely transferring data from a recording device to Council software and maintaining the vehicle in a clean, hygienic, and tidy condition.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must hold a full valid UK driving licence, have access to a suitable vehicle, and have knowledge of the Highway Code. You should also be able to follow set programmes and instructions, use your own initiative, and have good time-keeping skills.

In addition, you must have an understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We also expect you to share and evidence these values as part of the selection process.

We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments. Therefore, wherever possible, we will consider working arrangements that suit an individual's personal circumstances while still meeting the needs of the Council.
