Energy Industry Training Program

We are a leading energy company at the heart of the UK's electricity network, connecting power from A to B. Our three-year Advanced Apprenticeship Substations program will train you to become a skilled crafts-person in our substations.
You'll learn maintenance techniques for high-voltage substation equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, disconnectors, compressors, and auxiliary systems. Following strict safety guidelines, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and monitoring of this critical infrastructure.
As a flexible multitasker, you can handle multiple responsibilities while paying great attention to detail. Academic brilliance isn't the only thing we're looking for; you need Five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including passes in Maths and English Language (grades 4/C or above) OR a Level 2 Pass in Functional Skills. By the end of your first year, you'll need a driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK.
