Livestock Welfare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our animal care team as a Livestock Welfare Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and wellbeing of farm livestock and small animals.
Your responsibilities will include caring for the animals on a daily basis, which includes feeding, grooming, and maintaining cleanliness of animal enclosures. You will also engage with visitors, deliver educational programs, and participate in activities that promote animal welfare and conservation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of animals. You will be working closely with experienced animal care professionals who will provide guidance and support throughout your career.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in animal welfare and conservation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A background in agriculture or animal science would be beneficial but not essential.
The estimated salary for this position is £17,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.
