Animal Welfare Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Animal Welfare Assistant to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for assisting with cat care, working closely with volunteers to provide guidance and support, and contributing to the rehoming process of cats in our care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal welfare, including feeding, cleaning, medicating, and handling cats. A full manual driving license is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily cat care duties, including feeding and cleaning.
- Work with volunteers to provide coaching and guidance on cat care tasks.
- Support the scheduling and preparation of rehoming information, viewings, and adoption of cats in care.
ENGINEERINGUK is a leading organization dedicated to providing care and support to thousands of cats each year until they find a loving new home.
Our team includes an Adoption Centre Manager, Deputy Centre Managers, Receptionist, Regional Driver, and a Volunteer Team Leader. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
A competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
