Automotive Workshop Engineer

**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Specialist
Luton Bennett is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Mechanical Specialist at our Newton Aycliffe Depot. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and expertise.
- Contribute to depot-wide projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to secure essential services.
**Requirements:
- Hold a relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Compensation Package:
- A highly competitive annual salary of £33,000 - £35,000.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- An attractive benefits package including holiday time, bank holidays, life assurance, and uniform.
**Work Schedule:
This role will involve working a standard 39-hour week from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
