Job Summary:

Luton Bennett is seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer Technician to join our team at Newton Aycliffe Depot. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £31,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including:

  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Overtime at time 1.5 & 2.0
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Working Hours:

This is a full-time role, working 39 hours per week from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
