Workshop Engineer Technician

Job Summary:
Luton Bennett is seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer Technician to join our team at Newton Aycliffe Depot. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and effective manner
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £31,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including:
- Pension scheme
- Life assurance
- Overtime at time 1.5 & 2.0
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Working Hours:
This is a full-time role, working 39 hours per week from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
