Job Summary

HRA Global is seeking a skilled Customer Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth for a major international dairy cooperative. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategies that expand the client's footprint across the UK, focusing on growing market share, opening new sales channels, and developing strategic partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive Business Growth: Identify and develop opportunities to expand the client's market share, including negotiating commercial deals and building long-term partnerships.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Oversee a portfolio of key national and regional accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Develop New Sales Channels: Identify and evaluate new distribution channels and retail opportunities, developing strategies to penetrate these channels and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of account objectives.

Requirements:
  • National Account Management Experience: Demonstrated success in managing large national and regional accounts, ideally within the FMCG or dairy sector.
  • Strategic Planning: Strong experience in developing and executing strategic account plans that deliver against sales, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Sales and Negotiation Expertise: Proven track record of negotiating and securing commercial deals, with the ability to build win-win partnerships.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of key business drivers and ability to analyze financial data to inform commercial decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presentation and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as Strategic Sales Management, Business Analytics, Negotiation Mastery, or Communication are desirable but not essential.
