About the Role
As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist UCR Intermediate Care, you will be an integral part of our team, working in Scarborough to provide high-quality clinical input and support to patients. This is a 6-month fixed-term post that offers an excellent opportunity to work with our urgent community response and intermediate care team.

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist who can work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver patient-centred care. You will be responsible for providing timely clinical triage for referrals, offering advice and guidance to referrers, and liaising with internal teams and partner organisations to support patient care delivery.

In this role, you will demonstrate specialist clinical skills, work with patients to set individualised goals, educate, and develop care plans tailored to their needs. You will also provide line management, supervision, support, guidance, and training to peers, Community Support Practitioners, and students.
