A senior care assistant opportunity has arisen for an exceptional care home in the Bury Saint Edmunds area.
This care home provides residential and dementia care for residents, with en-suite accommodation.
To be considered, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and be willing to complete Level 3.
Your key responsibilities as a senior care assistant will include:
- Leading and inspiring a team to provide high-quality care for residents.
- Supporting residents with personal care needs and encouraging them to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
- Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
Applicants should have:
- A passion for caring for older people.
- Previous care experience.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- A kind and caring nature, with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
