Job Summary

IPS Group is seeking a Catastrophe Modeling Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining expert knowledge in catastrophe modeling for Specialty lines.

You will work closely with Underwriting teams to provide accurate pricing and analytics, as well as contribute to the development of the internal view of risk and climate change research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in catastrophe modeling for Specialty lines.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting teams to provide accurate pricing and analytics.
  • Contribute to the development of the internal view of risk and climate change research.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
