About the Role

We are seeking a Catastrophe Modeling Expert to join our team at Eames Consulting. As a key member of the specialist team, you will work on complex cyber risk analysis and modeling, influencing the way multiple syndicates access and manage cyber risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cyber Risk Analysis: Define and communicate the cyber view of risk to various stakeholders, utilizing technical skills in SQL, Python, and R.
  • Cyber Risk Modeling: Develop and maintain an internally developed cyber risk model, incorporating machine learning techniques to improve data collection and accuracy.
  • Model Validation: Validate cyber risk modeling software and present results to senior stakeholders, partnering with major model vendors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in data analysis, catastrophe modeling, or exposure management.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, with a strong interest in cyber risk and desire to become a specialist in this area of the market.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
