The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Catastrophe Modeling Expert to join our Consulting and Client Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to enhance their usage of our Verisk suite of solutions and provide expert guidance on catastrophe modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day client support and training sessions to help clients understand and use our software and models.
  • Perform sophisticated risk analyses using our cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of catastrophe risk management.
  • Communicate directly with clients working on consulting projects and help them reliably assess and manage their catastrophe loss potential through interpretation of modeling results.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office is essential, and knowledge and understanding of the insurance/reinsurance markets are preferred.
  • Ability to code in languages such as SQL, R, Python will be highly beneficial.
