The Emerald Group invites applications from experienced Catastrophe Modelling Experts to join their Japan Analytics team in London. This challenging role offers a salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the OpportunityIn this dynamic role, you will lead the development and implementation of catastrophe models to estimate natural disaster risks. You will collaborate closely with clients, brokers, and actuaries to design and refine these models, ensuring they accurately capture real-world scenarios.
Main Responsibilities- Model Development and Refining: Designing and improving catastrophe models to enhance predictive accuracy and reduce uncertainty.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working with clients, brokers, and actuaries to develop tailored risk management strategies.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying and mitigating potential risks using catastrophe models and data analytics.
- Communication and Training: Providing training and support to colleagues on catastrophe modelling techniques and best practices.
