Join us as a Catastrophe Modeling Expert at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) and play a key role in helping our clients mitigate their risks and achieve their business goals.
About the RoleIn this position, you will work closely with our Property team covering Lloyds and Bermuda markets, Global Reinsurers, and domestic UK&IE insurers. You will lead and/or contribute to renewal modeling projects on local and global accounts, develop and deploy service offerings to clients, and quantify catastrophe risk to client portfolios using vendor models and proprietary models.
Requirements:- Proven experience in the (re)insurance market and in catastrophe risk analysis using at least one of the main vendor models RMS and Verisk.
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of SQL.
You will be expected to engage with clients, reinsurers, brokers, and actuaries on topics including model interpretation, portfolio management, and bespoke analytical projects. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to reporting and analysis of natural disasters to support clients post-event.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including minimum 25 days holiday, defined contribution pension scheme, life insurance, health cash plan, employee stock purchase plan, share incentive plan, critical illness cover, discounted gym membership, season ticket loan, and access to a discounted voucher portal.
