Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Matron to lead our Critical Care teams across two acute sites at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a key strategic and clinical role within the critical care service, developing the services to the highest possible standard and showcasing them to the units, division, and trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with the Senior Divisional/Nursing teams to ensure that National, Regional, and Trust strategies are developed and implemented at a local level.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement national, regional, and trust strategies at a local level
  • Promote the vision and values of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust through leadership behaviours and team support
  • Lead a successful and motivated team within the clinical unit, contributing to recruitment initiatives and workforce planning
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with active registration with the NMC
  • Masters-level qualification or evidence of actively working towards relevant to the role
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to the role to demonstrate expert clinical and leadership skills

The estimated salary for this position is £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
