About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned clinical psychologist looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Principal Practitioner Psychologist in East Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in working with complex client groups, particularly those requiring high-intensity support. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality specialist applied psychology services to clients, their families, or carers, with highly complex presentations. They will also contribute to the training and clinical supervision of other staff members and offer reflective practice opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional clinical leadership within the clinical service/team, ensuring high-quality specialist applied psychology services to clients
  • Supervise and govern a group of psychologists and psychological therapists, promoting psychological practice within the team through consultation, supervision, formulation, and training

Requirements:

  • Significant assessed experience working as a qualified psychologist
  • Experience working with diverse client groups across various settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, in-patient, and residential care settings
  • Doctoral-level knowledge of research design and methodology
  • Formal training in supervision of other psychologists
