Critical Care Services Director Job Description

The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Critical Care Services Director. As a leader in this field, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing a team of professionals, and contributing to the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in critical care, and a passion for innovation and quality improvement. We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, staff restaurants, and on-site parking.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Critical Care Services Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the critical care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A Registered Nurse qualification and active registration with the NMC.
  • Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role, such as a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in a senior leadership position within a critical care setting.
