About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Critical Care Matron to join our team at the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our critical care services and driving excellence in patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in critical care, and a passion for innovation and quality improvement. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing a team of professionals, and contributing to the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, staff restaurants, and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Critical Care Matron. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the critical care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A Registered Nurse qualification and active registration with the NMC.
  • Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role, such as a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in a senior leadership position within a critical care setting.
