Job Description

This is a senior leadership role within the Critical Care department, responsible for supporting provision for a high-quality service to patients, the trust, and its key stakeholders.

About the Role

The post holder will be accountable for promoting the vision and values of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, leading by example and ensuring they demonstrate those values in their leadership behaviours and how we support our teams and deliver our services.

The successful candidate will have established leadership skills that motivate, empower, and inspire others to promote evidence-based quality service for patients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARDS AND CARE PATHWAYS FOR PATIENTS
  2. LEAD A SUCCESSFUL AND MOTIVATED TEAM WITHIN THE CLINICAL UNIT, CONTRIBUTING TO RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES AND WORKFORCE PLANNING
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with active registration with the NMC
  • Masters-level qualification or evidence of actively working towards relevant to the role
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to the role to demonstrate expert clinical and leadership skills

The estimated salary for this position is £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
