About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager who is committed to the values of the not-for-profit sector and keen to contribute to an organisation that makes a difference. This role will lead a small team, manage casework & drive the development and implementation of HR strategies and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Assist and support line managers in complex employee relations cases including absence, conduct and capability etc. by conducting interviews, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • HR Administration: Manage all HR administration within the team ensuring accuracy and efficiency within agreed SLAs.
  • HR Systems: Oversee and manage all HR systems ensuring data accuracy and continuous improvement to workflows.
  • Policy Development: Support the Head of People in overseeing and reviewing HR and Payroll policies, procedures and processes to comply with legislation whilst working with SMT to ensure their effectiveness.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous HR management experience and a good level of general HR knowledge including employee relations, recruitment and reward etc. Organisation, analytical, attention to detail and relationship building skills are all crucial to be successful in this role. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

What We Offer

Working Hours = You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) - compressed hours considered.

Flexibility - 3 days on-site

Salary = Up to £41,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
