Are you looking for a challenging role that will utilize your cable systems engineering expertise? We have an exciting opportunity for a Cable Systems Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution practice at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and delivery of cable systems activities.

In this role, you will perform a range of tasks, including:

  • HVDC/HVAC cable calculations: Develop cable burial route risk assessments, landfall, and cable protection systems for offshore, subsea applications.
  • Gathering and correlating engineering data: Use established and well-defined procedures to generate detailed cable reports.
  • Developing detailed offshore routine engineering assignments: Design, route, install, commission, and de-commission HVAC/HVDC, IAC, and export cable systems for static and dynamic systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including HVAC Interconnectors and HVAC and HVDC Offshore Windfarm projects. Our team operates in a fast-paced environment, and you will need to work efficiently to meet deadlines. The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
