Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead HVAC Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of HVAC professionals and overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems on a major nuclear new build project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HVAC professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the execution of HVAC system installations, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the project, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, designers, and contractors.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC construction within the nuclear sector, with a proven track record in new build EPC projects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, nuclear safety regulations, and construction practices.
