We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our Adult Eating Disorder Service in Essex. As a specialist in this field, you will provide expert medical advice and leadership to the team, working closely with local operational leads and other consultants. The post holder will be responsible for attending weekly clinical meetings, liaising with acute hospitals and mental health teams, and providing comprehensive assessment and management of complex presentations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly clinical meetings

The ideal candidate will have registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register, as well as experience in clinical research methods and organising educational activities. A postgraduate degree in psychiatry is also required. We offer a generous relocation package up to £8,000 and recruitment and retention premia up to £15,000 (T&Cs apply). Our trust is supportive of newly qualified consultants continuing professional development, seeking to deepen and broaden their skills.
