Perinatal Care Practitioner

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in South Essex. This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in perinatal mental health, working within a supportive team environment that fosters professional growth and development.
The successful candidate will be based at one of our five hubs across Essex, providing specialist assessment and intervention for women at risk of moderate to severe mental illness or complex disorders. You will work closely with care coordinators from Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) to support pregnant women or those with an infant up to one year old.
You will conduct high-quality mental health assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education, training, and support to clients and their families. We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including season ticket loans, NHS discounts, and excellent training facilities.
