Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team at Canary Wharf Group plc. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the credit control process for our real estate portfolio. You will implement effective credit control policies and procedures to minimize late payments and reduce outstanding debts. Your duties will include generating and issuing accurate arrears statements to tenants, working closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure proper documentation and recording of financial transactions, and issuing tenant refunds and assisting with receipt allocation queries.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular follow-ups on overdue payments and implementing strategies to recover outstanding debts. You will negotiate and agree on payment plans with tenants when necessary and build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and tenants to ensure open communication regarding outstanding payments. You will also generate regular reports on the status of outstanding invoices and collections and provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in credit control, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial transactions within the real estate industry. You must be numerate, computer literate, and possess good communication skills. Excel experience within a Windows environment is also essential. You must have the ability to work under pressure, use your initiative, and have a flexible yet ordered approach to your work. Good team player skills are also required.
