As a Deputy Room Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners, working closely with the Room Leader to create engaging and interactive learning environments that foster curiosity and exploration.

We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of each child. Our unique curriculum blends the best practices from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, ensuring that every child receives a well-rounded education. As a Deputy Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading your room team to plan, organize, and execute activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.

We offer a competitive salary range of up to £29,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week. Our benefits package includes 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 5 years' service, as well as 70% off childcare at Kido, subject to available spaces. We also offer a £500 refer-a-friend bonus, enhanced sick pay, and annual performance-related pay increases.

As a Deputy Room Leader, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education. You will be responsible for assessing and recording children's progress and achievements, aligning with our systems of observation to ensure no milestone goes unnoticed. We celebrate every child's unique journey and provide a supportive environment that caters to individual needs.

We are looking for an experienced Educator with a relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum. Your values should align with our 3 core values - Listen, Learn, and Lead. You must hold the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check.
