Kido is a pioneering Early Years education provider that combines innovative approaches to create a unique learning environment. We're seeking a highly skilled Deputy Room Leader to join our team and contribute to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators in planning and delivering engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of the room alongside the Room Leader, driving learning outcomes and transforming them into inspiring classroom experiences.
  • Ensure the unique needs of each child are met, leading the team to plan, organise and execute activities that promote curiosity and exploration.
  • Assess and record children's progress and achievements, aligning with our systems of observation to ensure no milestone goes unnoticed.

Requirements:

  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum, with experience as an Educator and/or Deputy Room Leader in a nursery setting.
  • Alignment with Kido's 3 core values: Listen, Learn and Lead.
  • The right to work in the UK.

  • A competitive salary range of up to £27,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week.
