Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Old Age Psychiatry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to older adults in the community and inpatient settings.

About the Role:

The post is based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and involves a range of responsibilities, including acute older adult liaison services, consultant input to Inverclyde care homes, and support from three liaison nurses. You will also contribute to case-based discussions and local management meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration
  • A license to practice
  • Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
  • Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview (for UK-trained applicants)
  • Equivalent training (for non-UK applicants)

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. NHS Scotland offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development, flexible working arrangements, and access to excellent healthcare services.
