We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Leader to join our team and lead all aspects of the Social Housing business. Reporting directly to Ben Todd, our Managing Director, you will own the management of the Account Management team, ensuring we build strategic partnerships with our social housing clients by offering a market-leading service proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strategically develop our Social Housing clients, recognising and delivering additional growth opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop our excellent team of Account Managers, ensuring we're going above and beyond for our customers.
  • Use data and personal market experience to drive a winning sales culture, developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed our strategic priorities.
  • You'll be the key relationship holder with our Social Housing customers, ensuring we're delivering against our agreed terms of business and that all processes are flowing smoothly as our customers would expect.
  • The Strategic Account Leader is an influential member of the Managed Services Leadership Team, building and maintaining strong working relationships with our largest customers by attending industry events and providing thought leadership on key strategic topics.
  • Continually evaluate the existing and target customers to deliver profitable growth and deliver against our commercial goals.
  • Ensure the credibility and technical expertise of the Account Managers to ensure we are the trusted partner for Social Housing Providers.
  • Work seamlessly with all of the Managed Services team, as well as the wider Travis Perkins business to demonstrate a united front to the customer on our service ambition.

About the Role:

If you have experience leading a high-performing team that delivers similar services into the Social Housing sector, we would love to hear from you. You may be in a similar role working for a similar service provider or supplier looking for a new opportunity with a growing business.

This role oversees a £250m t/o, and it's therefore important that you have a strong commercial understanding, as well as the ability to problem-solve and add value to our customers by offering strong solutions.
