We provide schools and academies with design, development, master planning, and project management services. Our team is now seeking an experienced quantity surveyor to manage costs and procurement for projects of any scale.

Job Summary:

  • Cost Management: Oversee the management of costs and procurement for projects.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Tender Processes: Manage tender processes to ensure compliance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimation and Feasibility Studies: Prepare feasibility estimates and option appraisal studies.
  • Cost Planning and Risk Analysis: Create detailed cost plans and pre-tender estimates, and conduct risk analysis.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts to ensure compliance and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: RICS exempting or non-exempting degree required.
  • Professional Development: Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) preferred but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication both oral and written.
  • Organisation and Problem-Solving: Organising, problem-solving, and negotiating skills required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
